Description
Dell PowerEdge R350 Rack Server
The Dell PowerEdge R350 Rack Server is a versatile and high-performance server designed for small to medium-sized businesses that require a reliable and compact solution for their data center or IT infrastructure. This 1U rack-mounted server is built to handle a range of workloads, from file storage and web hosting to virtualization and data processing. It is powered by the Intel Xeon E-2300 series processors, offering solid performance for business-critical applications while maintaining energy efficiency.
The server supports up to 64GB of DDR4 ECC memory, which helps prevent data corruption and enhances the stability of workloads. It provides flexible storage options with support for up to four 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, which can be configured with either SATA or SAS drives depending on the performance or capacity requirements. The server also offers RAID support (RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10) for data redundancy and improved fault tolerance.
In terms of connectivity, the PowerEdge R350 is equipped with Gigabit Ethernet for reliable and high-speed networking, and offers expandable PCIe slots for additional network, storage, or graphics cards. It also features multiple USB ports for easy connection of peripherals and external devices.
The 550W or 750W power supply options ensure that the server operates efficiently while supporting the demanding workloads. Dell’s OpenManage systems management software is available for easier setup, monitoring, and maintenance, making it easier for IT administrators to manage the server remotely. Additionally, the server includes robust security features such as a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for data protection and secure boot to safeguard against unauthorized access.
